Welcome to Infrared Sauna Therapy—where deep heat meets deep healing, and sweating actually feels like self-care. Whether you’re here for detox, relaxation, or muscle recovery, we’re answering all your burning questions (pun intended) so you can step into the heat with confidence.
Infrared sauna therapy is a modern approach to traditional sauna treatments, using infrared light waves to gently heat your body from the inside out instead of just warming the air around you. This means a deeper, more effective sweat at a lower, more comfortable temperature, promoting detoxification, muscle recovery, and relaxation without the overwhelming heat of traditional saunas.
Traditional saunas use steam or high heat to warm the air, which then heats your body externally, often making it feel intense and difficult to breathe. Infrared saunas, on the other hand, directly penetrate your skin and muscles with infrared light, allowing you to sweat more deeply at a lower temperature (120-150°F) while staying comfortable and relaxed.
Infrared sauna therapy can boost circulation, ease muscle tension, support detoxification, improve skin health, and enhance relaxation. It also helps with pain relief, inflammation reduction, stress management, and even sleep improvement. Regular sessions can make you feel lighter, healthier, and more energized.
Yes! Studies have shown that infrared heat can promote detoxification, improve heart health, reduce inflammation, and support muscle recovery. Many athletes, wellness experts, and doctors recommend infrared sauna therapy for its scientifically backed ability to improve overall well-being.
Most sessions last between 30-45 minutes, which is the perfect amount of time for your body to heat up, sweat out toxins, and absorb all the benefits. Unlike traditional saunas, where you might need to step out frequently due to overwhelming heat, infrared therapy keeps you comfortable the entire time.
The most important thing is hydration! Drink plenty of water before your session, as sweating helps release toxins, and you’ll want to stay well-hydrated to support your body’s natural detox process. Avoid alcohol and heavy meals beforehand—you want to feel light and relaxed, not sluggish or dehydrated.
Wear light, breathable clothing, a swimsuit, or simply a towel – the goal is to allow your skin to absorb the infrared heat without restriction. The less fabric in direct contact with your skin, the better your body can fully enjoy the detox and relaxation benefits. We will supply a towel and wrap for your comfort.
A light meal or snack is fine, but a heavy meal right before sweating it out? Not the best idea. Digestion and intense heat don’t mix well, and a big meal can make you feel sluggish instead of refreshed.
We provide towels and wraps to wear into the Sauna as well as everything else you need, but bringing a water bottle is always a great idea to stay hydrated.
You’ll step into the warm, inviting sauna and let the infrared waves deeply penetrate your body, increasing circulation and encouraging a deep, healthy sweat. You can sit back, close your eyes, listen to music, meditate, or just enjoy the moment – this is your time to relax and reset.
Yes! Many people love listening to calming music, guided meditations, or even podcasts while they sweat. If you prefer, you can also just enjoy the peaceful quiet and focus on deep breathing for an even more restorative experience.
Not at all! Unlike traditional saunas, which can feel overpoweringly hot and stuffy, infrared saunas provide a comfortable, breathable warmth that lets you sweat without feeling overwhelmed.
Of course! You’re always in control of your session. If at any point you need to step out, you can cool down and re-enter when ready, or end your session early if needed.
Most people feel incredibly relaxed, refreshed, and lighter – like they just sweated out all their stress and tension. Some feel energized and ready to take on the day, while others experience a deep sense of calm and tranquility – it all depends on what your body needs.
It’s not required, but you may want to! Sweating releases toxins, and while infrared saunas promote a “clean sweat” (less sticky than traditional saunas), a quick rinse can help wash away impurities and leave you feeling extra refreshed. If you are taking advantage of the Halotherapy option you may want to wait to shower until you get home so your body can continue to absorb the salt.
Some benefits—like muscle relaxation, reduced stress, and improved mood—can be felt immediately after your first session. Others, like better skin, improved circulation, and deeper sleep, become more noticeable with regular use over time.
This is completely normal! Your body just went through a deep detox and circulatory boost, so give yourself a few minutes to cool down and rehydrate. Sipping water, taking deep breaths, and sitting for a few moments before jumping back into your day will help your body adjust. We do have a room available for you to relax in if needed after your session.
Absolutely! Many people find that sauna therapy enhances focus and energy, making it a great midday break before heading back to work. If you plan to work out after your sauna session, be sure to hydrate well and ease into it, as your body has already gone through a form of passive cardio.
For general wellness and relaxation, 2-3 sessions per week is great. If you’re using it for muscle recovery, detox, or pain management, 3-5 times per week can provide deeper benefits. Listen to your body, and adjust as needed!
Yes! Drink plenty of water to replenish lost fluids, and consider adding an electrolyte drink or mineral-rich food like coconut water or leafy greens. If you’re focusing on detox, eating light, whole foods afterward can help your body continue to flush out impurities.
Yes! Many people pair infrared sauna therapy with halotherapy, floating, massage, or yoga for the ultimate wellness experience. Since your body is already warmed up and relaxed, following up with another treatment can enhance the benefits even more.
Yes! Infrared sauna therapy is a gentle, non-invasive wellness practice that’s safe for most people. It’s a great option for those looking to improve circulation, relieve pain, and detoxify without the extreme heat of traditional saunas.
We always recommend checking with your doctor first. While some women find the warmth soothing during pregnancy, others may need to avoid high heat. Your doctor can help determine what’s best for you and your baby.
Yes! The heat may actually help relieve cramps and muscle tension. Just listen to your body – if you feel lightheaded or overheated, step out and cool down.
If you have heart conditions, high blood pressure, or any major health concerns, check with your doctor before using the sauna. Infrared heat is gentle, but it’s always best to get medical approval.
Not if you stay hydrated! Drinking water before and after your session helps balance electrolytes and prevent dehydration while you sweat.
You’ll burn calories and increase metabolism, but it’s not a standalone weight-loss solution. Think of it as a powerful complement to a healthy lifestyle.
Some people feel slightly lightheaded if they haven’t hydrated enough, but a cool-down period and some water usually fix that quickly.
Not at all! Infrared therapy has been studied for decades and is used by athletes, doctors, and wellness experts for its proven health benefits.
